Coming off a landmark win against the Celtics, it'd be easy for the Magic to come out and walk through a game with the Bucks. After all, the Magic beat the Bucks by 26 points a little more than a week ago. But Milwaukee is in a heated race for the final playoff spot, and they've beaten some good teams this season. The Magic, fighting for the second seed, can't afford a slip in the standings. 2. Send it in to Dwight.
Last time these teams met, Dwight Howard scored 18 points in the first quarter on his way to a 28-point, 12-rebound, 7-assist performance. Francisco Elson plays a little better post defense than you'd assume, but Dwight still requires a double-team with the Bucks. Last time, Howard found a myriad of cutters on his way to a memorable passing performance. When the offense is working like that, this team is almost impossible to stop. 3. Speed it up.
When the Magic are at their best, they're running. The team plays even a step faster with Rafer Alston as the starting point guard. So, just because you have a lead, don't stop playing that way. The Magic tightened and sat on the ball in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's win against the Celtics, and it almost cost them. Keep on getting after it and put teams out of their misery.
