1) Rumors coming out of the Dwight Howard camp to Chris Sheridan of SheridanHoops.com are reporting that Howard is a little more intrigued with playing for the Clippers than he previously was. Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel writes it was long overdue for Dwight to expand his list and the Clippers potentially can offer something no other team can in Blake Griffin. Too bad, he is a non-starter for the Clippers. The idea of pairing up with Deron Williams in New Jersey appears to have been abandoned.
2) Patrick Ewing told Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel that he has advised Howard to stay in Orlando and that the grass is not always greener in the big markets.
3) Dwight Howard sought some friendly advice from fellow superstar Carmelo Anthony while the team was in New York. Anthony told Howard to make sure he does what he truly wants, Sam Gardner of Fox Sports Florida reports.
4) Dwight Howard, for his part, is keeping relatively quiet on what he wants. If winning truly is the end goal for his career, as he tells Ken Berger of CBS Sports, the Magic are providing that for the moment and the Knicks are serving as a warning for what Anthony did and what Howard is allegedly doing.
5) Ryan Anderson scored 30 points and J.J. Redick added 21 as the Magic came-from-behind with a strong fourth quarter surge to defeat the Knicks on Monday.
6) Eddy Rivera of MagicBasketball.net examines Hedo Turkoglu's offensive renaissance this year and specifically what he has done in crunch time to boost his play this year. Rivera also breaks down the zone defense Stan Van Gundy employed at the end of the Knicks game.
