Get pumped, guys.
Magic Media Day is Monday and training camp opens up Tuesday. That, of course menas, Magic season is right around the corner. All the anticipation and excitement culminates then as the players get back together and we get some actual basketball to watch.
Even though expectations for a win/losss record are low, Magic fans are excited to see how their young players mesh together and grow.
They are still in their 20s though and are bound to have a little fun, like they did at Amway Center during a workout Friday:
That would be Kyle O'Quinn lobbing to Romero Osby, dishing to Victor Oladipo dishing to Maurice Harkless for the windmill slam. No word on who choreographed the dance -- my bet is O'Quinn.
The video though shows the athleticism of this Magic bunch, the fun they have together and how much more ripped Maurice Harkless is than he ever was last year. A full summer of being able to work out and the knowledge of what is ahead of him in his second season certainly helped. There was no sports hernia hampering him this time.
Assume that everyone else on the roster, barring any injury setbacks, had similar summers.
There is a lot of reason to get excited.
