Brousard sounds just like every other commentator for the NBA, who thinks that the Cav and Celtics are going to be unstoppable next year. I'm personally not that worried about the Celtics. They are really old and didn't really change up as much as people think. Rasheed is also a distraction so you can't even say he is an upgrade. The Cavs on the other hand got a lot bigger up front and they added a couple decent sized wing players, which is an upgrade from the little guys we ran over last year. If Shaq and Lebron can play together then it could get scary.

That being said, I beleive the Magic have vastly improved. They are so much bigger up front with the addition of Bass, Anderson and with Gortat breaking out as a go to big man. If we wanted to we could play Rashard at the 3 and Anderson at the 4. That would give us a pretty tall line up that could shoot lights out 3 pointers. We could also have Pietrus 2, Barnes 3, Bass 4 and Howard 5 which would be a lockdown defensive team that can still score points. The Magic are young and focused on winning the title. These other teams have character and age issues while we have nothing but young, versatile players who are hungry.

A lot depends on KG, I think. If his knee is back to 100 percent (a big if), they will be good. But if I had to pick one of the big three teams to drop down to the next tier of teams, it'd be the Celtics. Things could blow up for them if injuries hit or Rajon Rondo trade rumors heat up again.

I don't get Broussard's pick and roll idea either. Doesn't that leave Vince or Jameer or whoever wide open? How is that a good thing?

He always looked so upset on First and Ten after the Cavs lost ECF games.

Scrots, Chris Broussard is a Cleveland native, which (I believe) makes him biased toward the Cavaliers at times.

Broussard is open about the fact he's a Cleveland fan. He's from Ohio, he had a couple articles last year about the Cavs, so it's no surprise. Everyone's entitled to their loyalties, I actually like Michael Wilbon because he's so open about it.

What I really can't understand is how every time it's brought up, all these "anaylsts" always talk about how improved Cleveland & Boston are (debatable), and they just act like Orlando did nothing. Even if you don't like the "swap" of Hedo for Vince, the Magic did a lot of other things to improve their squad, not to mention the natural improvement of the young players on the team. Outside of LeBron and Rondo, who else is improving on the Cavs and Celtics?
