1) The Magic are not going to transform themselves into a contender overnight, but they defeated a team that seems to have done that. Twice. Orlando stopped the streaking Golden State team 99-84 last night at Amway Center. Three-pointers and defense proved to be the difference. Rebounding adjustments too were key after a rough start on the offensive glass.

2) Maurice Harkless responded to criticism Friday night in scoring seven points, grabbing seven rebounds and recording four blocks.
