Rafer Alston's Journey to the NBA

Orlando's newest acquisition at point guard, Rafer Alston, has a unique distinction. He's the only street ball player to ever have a prolonged career in the NBA. Alston was known as Skip To My Lou (yes, that makes three guys with that nickname on the Magic now) before he entered the NBA and is regarded as one of the best street ballers of all time.
