Canceled Magic-Knicks Game Set for March 28
If you notice the handy-dandy schedule on the right there has been updated by a line.
The NBA announced Orlando will make up its Nov. 2 game in New York on March 28 at 7:30 p.m. Local TV information has not been released. The Nov. 2 game was canceled after material that may have contained asbestos fell from the ceiling of Madison Square Garden onto the floor during routine cleanup.
The game is actually wedged into a really nice area in the schedule. Orlando would have played a game at home again New Jersey on Friday, March 25 and would not have played again until March 30 in Atlanta. Now there is a game in between. Could be a good thing. Could be a bad thing. Way too difficult to tell. But it will be a good test late in the season for Orlando.
But the Magic have a long time before they have to think about it.
So to repeat: the Magic will play the Knicks on Monday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m.
