Training camp invite Linton Johnson will stick around

With Adonal Foyle nursing an injured knee, backup forward Linton Johnson III will make the Orlando Magic's opening night roster, Brian Schmitz reports. From Schmitz:
Johnson's chances of making the team were remote until center Adonal Foyle underwent athroscopic surgery to repair his right knee. Johnson, a six-year veteran who was not drafted coming out of Tulane in 2002, likely will remain with the club until Foyle returns.
I haven't written much about Johnson much this preseason, as he's played sparingly and done little while on the floor during gametime. In fact, I did feature Johnson once - on a story about constantly changing NBA cities, of all things. For now, Johnson has a home. That could change when Foyle comes back.
